Welcome to the official announcements page of Asian Financial Economics and Policy (AFEP). Here we post updates on new issues, calls for papers, editorial notices, publication policies, indexing developments, and other journal-related information.

Authors are invited to submit original research articles, review articles, policy and analytical papers, comparative country studies, and short research notes in financial economics, macroeconomics, monetary and fiscal policy, capital markets, banking and financial systems, financial regulation, fintech, international finance, and comparative economic analysis. AFEP gives particular emphasis to Asia and emerging-market contexts while also welcoming comparative studies with broader regional or global relevance.

The journal maintains an open-access policy to support the dissemination of rigorous, policy-relevant, and methodologically sound scholarship for researchers, policymakers, regulators, financial professionals, institutions, and graduate students.

Article Processing Charge (APC): To sustain open-access publication, a modest fee is collected only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication. No fee is required upon submission.
