摘要

Graduate feedback provides an important basis for determining whether higher education programs remain aligned with professional and industry requirements. This study assessed graduates' perceptions of the quality of the Centro Escolar University Medical Technology program and the contribution of academic preparation, competencies, and internship experience to job readiness. A descriptive quantitative design was employed. Using convenience sampling, the researchers obtained responses from 247 graduates from the 2015-2024 cohorts out of a reported population of 2,358 alumni. Data were collected through a researcher-developed structured questionnaire administered in printed and online formats and analyzed using frequencies, percentages, means, and standard deviations. Of the respondents, 83.0% were employed, including 78.1% in full-time positions. Most employed respondents worked locally and were engaged in clinical, hospital, or diagnostic laboratory settings. Graduates rated the overall quality of the Medical Technology program favorably (M = 4.22). Courses in the curriculum received the highest program-quality rating (M = 4.38), while the teaching and learning environment received the lowest (M = 4.07). Factors perceived to contribute to job readiness obtained an overall mean of 4.15. Internship experience received the highest rating (M = 4.43), whereas competency and skills received the lowest (M = 3.65). The findings indicate that graduates generally perceived the curriculum, instruction, and internship program as supportive of their transition into employment. Continuous program review should strengthen transferable, interpersonal, managerial, and technology-related competencies while sustaining structured clinical internship experiences.
